Where This Started
I'm a sales professional from Chicago, currently in B2B freight sales with a passion for tech. I finished my Finance degree at DePaul University while working full time in sales, handling 60+ customer interactions a day. I didn't have a roadmap. I built one.
Entrepreneurship is the family trade. I watched businesses rise, fall, and rebuild growing up. By age 20, I held a board seat at a home healthcare organization. I've seen sales from an unconventional angle my entire life. That's the origin of my professional why.
I communicate to understand and to be understood, in three languages. Off the floor, I'm grading my own call recordings against Josh Braun's framework and studying the craft.
I read, I train, I journal. Ice baths every week. Family when I can get it, and volunteering with CHI-CARE. Usually with an iced caramel macchiato in hand.

Strategies
Written between calls, while it's still fresh.
Early in my sales career. Scripts, openers, objection handling. I study all of it. But one thing recently shifted my calls that I didn't see coming. My posture.
Read the rest on LinkedIn →Something that's been working for me. Before I ever reach the decision maker, I try to have already talked to someone inside the company. Not to get transferred. To learn.
Read the rest on LinkedIn →Most reps waste time chasing the wrong person at the right company. Here's how I avoid that using LinkedIn Sales Navigator and AI.
Read the rest on LinkedIn →Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself.
Every version of me fed the next one. I'm still becoming.
The wise man does at once what the fool does finally.
I fail my way forward. Each one tells me the next move.
It is not because things are difficult that we do not dare; it is because we do not dare that things are difficult.
Step one is usually halfway. One taste tells you whether it's yours.
